I just found fanfiction of The Life and Times of Angel Evans! I have not yet got permission from the author to share a link, but it exists and it is beautiful and sweet. As an author my aims have always been A) get published and B) have someone write fanfiction of my work. Both those things have happened now, and I feel super awesome. So thanks to the fab fanficcer who enjoyed The Life and Times of Angel Evans enough to want to play in my sandbox – you just made my day.

In case anyone is wondering, my stance on fanfiction is that I read boatloads of it, and if people want to write fanfic of my work that is great, have fun. I am not always gonna read it, or agree with your headcanon, or whatever, but I’m never gonna be angry about people writing fanfiction. If people try to make money off my work or claim ownership that is a different issue. So now you know. I am off to do the dance of joy.
