Update: some rambling and bits

Hello everyone! Other than Queer Galaxy Storm! I’ve been rather quiet, so I thought I’d do a quick little update for you all.

Writing: mainly QGS!, as the final few episodes still need editing and stuff, and are scheduled to go out so I have to get it done. I hope you’re all enjoying it 🙂

Reading: I’m still reading The Crows by CM Rosens. The pandemic has really reduced my concentration time, so I’ve take about five times as long to read this book as I usually would. But it is very good – anyone who likes gothic horror that just keeps laughing at you when you think you’ve figured it out will love it. Also Nimue Brown’s poetry, and still stuck in the Odyssey (Odysseus is just really annoying me and I know he’s nearly home and I’m nearly done but I can’t quite get back into it). Also waaaaaaay too much Witcher fanfiction. More than anyone needs to have read. I HAVEN’T EVEN FINISHED THE SERIES!

Listening to: The Amazing Devil I just, I fell into this band and I can’t get out. Send boats please. Alternately, also fall in and I will endlessly and cheerfully talk to you for hours about lyric analysis…

Tired of: Boris fucking Johnson WHAT IS HE DOING WHAT IS HE DOING WHAT IS HE DOING AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AND I HAVEN’T EVEN READ THE NEWS LATELY I’VE JUST HEARD OTHER PEOPLE CHECK THE NEWS AND I’M SCARED TO CHECK THE NEWS I REALLY AM

Making: a crochet cape (it’s pretty great)

Distracting myself with: facepaint. This look was inspired by an episode of Wherefore

Considering: putting together a poetry book. This would be all the poems on my blog, plus a few never-before released ones, and I was thinking I could do a short commentary on each of the poems? As a way to try to lure people into spending money xD What are your thoughts, oh lovely readers?

Take care all of you! The next episode of Queer Galaxy Storm! is out on Friday, so look forward to that. I shall leave you with this image:Image is a play on the NHS poster Catch it bin it kill it. It reads: CATCH IT: germs spread easily. Always carry tissues and use them to catch your cough or sneeze. BIN IT: Germs can live for several hours on tissues. Dispose of your tissues as soon as possible. KILL IT: Hands can transfer germs to every surface you touch. Clean your hands as soon as you can. UNIONISE: Paid sick leave stops disease from spreading in your workplace. Join your union today.

I couldn’t find who made this, so if anyone knows or knows how to find out let me know so I can properly credit the image.
